April has been a month with another set of great lectures at SICM.
We have been fortunate to welcome Professor Iqbal Asaria, who spoke about the NHS and Obamacare, Dr. Ali Latif, who spoke about “The NHS: is this the end of the line?” and Ahmed Versi who talked about “Muslim Voting PAttern since 1992 General Elections”.
In addition, we celebrated the life of Lady Fatimah (AS) as part of our series on Monthly Personalities – with a talk by Ayatullah Fadhel Al Milani. We also celebrated the event of Me’raj with Ali Reza Khaki from Al Mahdi Institute.
Our upcoming talks can be seen here:
In May, as part of our interfaith initiative, we will be taking a trip with the local Christian community to Kew Gardens. If you would like to join us, please email us!
If you missed the talks or would like to watch them again, you can see most of them on our SICM YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/sicmtv
