The Salaam Centre seeks to create a place where people of all faiths or none feel that they can enter and participate- learn about who we are as Muslims.
With a wide range of facilities and a welcoming attitude, we feel that we can cater for the physical, intellectual and spiritual needs of people from all walks of life, age and gender.
Beyond the bricks and mortar, we seek to foster and environment of warmth, thought and creativity through the open interaction of users at the centre, be it during a workout at the gym, a book club in the library or over a coffee at the cafeteria.
The Salaam Centre will be an example of how Muslims can give back to the community. At a time when Muslims can be misunderstood, we want to show the positive side of Islam- what better way than having the centre open to all!
