The construction works ongoing at present are the plinth walls to the ground floor, as well as other works to achieve compliance with the specifications. This includes various minor works, snagging and other items on the completion checklist compiled by the Contract Administrator.
However, this is a busy design period.
- We are completing the structural design of the substation after a lot of iterations to the design, which included several layouts of the Ghusl Kafan arrangements.
- We are waiting for final approval of the revised façade design from London Borough of Harrow. This has taken a lot longer than the usual 13 weeks, because of the impact and significance of the facility design as compared to surrounding buildings. Once we get this, then the design for the Superstructure can start being finalised. This will include architectural, structural mechanical and electrical designs.
- We have organised a full day workshop on 28 Oct 17, where we will be examining the entire building, room by room. To this end, we expect to have completed all the Room Data Sheets, as well as the Reflected Ceiling Plans. This will enable us to input into the scheme to reflect the End-User requirements.
